Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games

From July 26 to August 11, 2024, for the first time in a century, France has hosted the Summer Olympic Games. From August 28 to September 8, 2024, it will host the first Summer Paralympic Games in its history.

Purposeful and sustainable Games

Organised by the Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games with the support of the French government, the Paris 2024 Olympics will set a new benchmark for a more responsible Olympiad.
In addition to exceptional athletic performances and nationwide celebrations, the Paris 2024 will champion the defining goals and objectives of our current century. The Games will be iconic, ecological, committed, fair, inclusive, low-energy and unifying.
They will also provide a historic opportunity for France to showcase its greatest strengths: its know-how, its creativity, its openness and its unique heritage. By guiding the world’s greatest sporting event into a new era, France will remain true to its universal values and its spirit of innovation.
